Drywall Repair in Grand Blanc, MI
A hole in the wall, a cracked seam, a ceiling that's seen better days — drywall damage doesn't fix itself, and it doesn't get cheaper with time. I'm Jacob Sanborn, owner of Expo Contracting Services LLC, and drywall repair is one of the two things I do. Not a side service. Not something I squeeze in between other jobs. It's the work.
I serve Grand Blanc and the surrounding area out of Flint/Grand Blanc, Michigan. If your drywall is damaged, I'll come look at it, tell you straight what it needs, and give you a firm price before any work starts.
What I fix
Holes — doorknob holes, accidental damage, holes cut for plumbing or electrical work
Cracks — stress cracks along seams, corner cracks, settling cracks
Water damage — stained or soft drywall from leaks, including full tear-outs when the damage goes deep
Ceiling damage — sagging, stained, or crumbling ceilings, including full ceiling replacement
Texture matching — making the repair blend into the surrounding wall or ceiling
Finishing and paint — tape, mud, sand, prime, and paint so the repair disappears
If it's drywall and it's broken, I can fix it. If it's something else — structural problems, mold behind the wall, active leaks — I'll tell you that too, and tell you who to call instead.
How the job goes
1. You reach out. Call, text, or hit "Get a Free Quote" on the site. Tell me what happened and send a photo if you can — it helps me come prepared.
2. I look at it. For most repairs I'll come out and see it in person. You get a firm, written price on the spot. No "we'll see once we open it up" pricing games.
3. I do the work. Damaged drywall gets cut out, not patched over. New drywall goes in, gets taped, mudded, sanded, primed, and painted. I protect your floors and furniturand clean up when I'm done.
Frequently asked questions
Can you match the texture on my walls? Yes. Most Grand Blanc homes have either orange-peel or knockdown texture. I match the existing texture as part of the repair — a patch that doesn't match isn't a finished repair.
Do I need to paint the whole wall after a repair? Usually just the repaired area. I prime and paint to match the existing color. If your paint is old or faded, the new spot might be slightly noticeable — I'll tell you honestly if that's likely before I start.
How long does a repair take? Small patches: usually a single visit. Anything involving multiple mud coats takes 2–4 visits spread over a few days, because each coat has to dry before the next one goes on. I'll tell you the schedule upfront.
Should I fix the leak before calling you? Yes — if water is still getting in, fix the source first. There's no point in putting up new drywall over an active leak. If you're not sure whether the leak is fixed, call me and I'll tell you what I see.
Do you haul away the debris? Yes. Demo debris, old drywall, and leftover materials all leave with me. Your house looks like I was never there, minus the hole in the wall.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes. Expo Contracting Services LLC is licensed and insured in Michigan.
